The ABC 80 can operate in two modes. A text mode with 40 characters on a line. 24 lines on the full screen.
And a graphics mode where dots can be placed using the command SETDOT X,Y and CLRDOT X,Y
Resolution in graphics mode are 72 x 78 dots on the entire screen

The 74S262 (H2) is a character-generator ROM. When a 3+4 bit value (7 bit total) is setup on the address input pins the corresponding character is presented.
is It was used in some ITT colour television Teletext Decoders. It contains the character set that is presented on the monitor. For Swedish version a 74S263 is used and for English the 74S262 is used.
So in order to make graphics on ABC 80 almindelige characters are selected. It is not possible to make Sprites like Case
